No SkyTrain — the North Shore has no rapid-transit rail line. By car, downtown Vancouver via Lions Gate Bridge is typically 30–45 minutes peak (Mountain Highway south to Marine Drive, then the bridge); via Ironworkers Memorial / Second Narrows is 25–40 minutes peak. Highway 1 access from Lower Lynn is a practical advantage for commuters into Burnaby or Vancouver.

By transit, the 228 / 229 / 239 bus network connects Lynn Valley Town Centre to Lonsdale Quay (~20–25 minutes), with the 12-minute SeaBus then running door-to-door times of 45–65 minutes to downtown. The North Shore commute math is non-trivial and is one of the most under-priced trade-offs in the Lynn Valley buyer decision — door-to-door round-trip times are easy to model at actual peak windows before assuming the lifestyle premium is worth it.
