Town Centre Park covers 42 hectares (103 acres) around Lafarge Lake, on a former gravel pit. The City Centre Aquatic Complex at 1210 Pinetree Way and the Evergreen Cultural Centre at 1205 Pinetree Way stand beside it. Percy Perry Stadium, sports fields, ball diamonds and tennis courts are in it. The City runs Lights at Lafarge there each winter, which it calls Metro Vancouver's largest free outdoor winter lights display.
