Silver Valley is a master-planned upland community on the northern slope of Maple Ridge — bounded roughly by 240 Street (east), 232 Street (west), 132 Avenue (north, where it transitions to ALR + provincial park lands), and Dewdney Trunk Road (south). The neighbourhood is governed by the City of Maple Ridge Silver Valley Area Plan, which structures the build-out across multiple sub-neighbourhood plans on the southern slope of the upland.

Inventory is predominantly post-2000 master-planned subdivision: newer detached on conventional 40–55 foot lots, three-storey townhouse complexes on the cross-streets, and small-lot detached + townhouse infill on the southern + eastern edges. A meaningful share of post-2015 inventory continues the active build-out.
