The Highstreet Shopping Centre at 3122 Mt. Lehman Road (an open-air, three-level centre opened in 2013 by Shape Properties) is the principal commercial anchor — Walmart Supercentre, London Drugs, H&M, Cineplex VIP cinemas, and dozens of additional retailers and restaurants. The Mt. Lehman Road + Sumas Way + Highway 1 frontage are the principal commercial spines.
North of the freeway, Bradner and Mt. Lehman keep their working-farm character inside the ALR — daffodil and flower fields, and the long-running Bradner Flower Show each April. The Abbotsford International Airport (YXX) at the southern edge is one of the busiest regional airports in BC outside the Lower Mainland.
