Willoughby — Walkability, Transit, and Commute

Today: transit means a bus to Carvolth Exchange, at 202 Street and 86 Avenue inside Willoughby, and then the TransLink 555 Port Mann Express to Lougheed Station, a median 21 minutes on the weekday schedule. Routes 388, 501, 509, 562 and 595 also stop at Carvolth.

Future: the Surrey-Langley SkyTrain runs along Fraser Highway and its project site gives late 2029 as the in-service date. Willowbrook Station sits about 700 metres south of the Township's Willoughby boundary. Willoughby's own corridor is 200 Street, where the community plan ties a one-kilometre growth corridor to a proposed bus rapid transit line.
