North Road south of Lougheed Highway is the food street: H Mart and Hannam Supermarket among about 20 Korean restaurants and cafes. Burnaby 2050 lists the City of Lougheed master plan among the features of the Lougheed Town Centre.
Mundy Park, with Mundy Lake and Lost Lake, is about 4 kilometres east of Burquitlam Station, and Como Lake Park is about 2.3 kilometres east. (The Coquitlam Crunch trail runs a few kilometres east on the BC Hydro right-of-way through Eagle Ridge and Westwood Plateau, separately.) The Burnaby Mountain Conservation Area starts about 530 metres from the station, and the SFU campus edge is about 1.9 kilometres away.
