As of October 2026, School District 41 is the Burnaby district and School District 43 is the Coquitlam district, so North Road is the district boundary as well as the city boundary. The school an address feeds is set by the district's locator, and the two districts differ in programs and out-of-catchment rules.
Confirm the catchment school in the district's locator before paying a premium for a school. SD #43's IB Diploma Programme runs at Port Moody Secondary, where it has been offered since 1986, and admission is by application from any Coquitlam-side Burquitlam address.
Confirm the catchment
Catchment is set by the property address, not the neighbourhood. Look up any address in the School District 43 (Coquitlam) locator, which is the only source that settles it.
