Zenterra construction update, June 2026

Three reasons to look now

  • Transit, under construction

    SkyTrain to Langley

Willoughby's two nearest stations; Willowbrook is where the 200 Street rapid bus is planned to meet the train.

    On record

The Surrey Langley SkyTrain extension runs 16 kilometres on an elevated guideway from King George Station to 203 Street in Langley City. Its eight stations include Willowbrook and Langley City Centre, each with a transit exchange. The Province's current anticipated in-service date is late 2029.

  • Transit, detailed planning

    200 Street bus rapid transit

Frequent, separated transit on the street Willoughby is built around.

    On record

TransLink names Langley-Haney Place as one of its first three bus rapid transit projects, now in detailed planning and community engagement. It is 22 kilometres with 13 stations, a bus every 10 minutes at peak and 40 minutes end to end, between the Township of Langley and Maple Ridge. The Township's plan update says the proposed line runs along 200 Street, with five stations inside the Willoughby plan area, each envisioned as a neighbourhood hub.

  • Planning, adopted June 2026

    Willoughby Transit Corridor Plan

Density, shops and services planned around the stops, which is what turns a corridor into a neighbourhood.

    On record

On June 15, 2026 Township council adopted the Willoughby Transit Corridor Plan (Bylaw 6202) with the new Willoughby Community Plan and the Gordon Neighbourhood Plan. It replaces five neighbourhood plans with one plan built around the 200 Street bus line: five stations in Willoughby, 12 storeys base within 200 metres of each, six storeys from 201 to 400 metres, townhouse at the edges. Applications filed before adoption may proceed under the old plans until June 15, 2028.

Is this project still being built for sale?

Presale projects in a slow market convert to rental or stop, and a developer’s own page keeps saying “now selling” either way. Every new home in British Columbia is registered with BC Housing before it is built, and that registration says which it is. Here is what the registry held for Solana on August 25, 2026.

Questions buyers ask about Solana

  • Where exactly is Solana?
The community address Zenterra uses is 7687 200 Street in Willoughby, Langley; Building A carries the civic address 19958 77 Avenue, and the pin on the map above is that building. The presentation centre is a separate showroom in Willoughby Town Centre; a booked visit’s confirmation carries the address and time.
  • What is the price of a home at Solana?
Zenterra releases pricing and incentives through its sales team, and they move week to week. Register for the current sheet and this week’s incentive, with the homes each applies to; it goes out the same day.
  • When does Solana complete?
Solana is two buildings with two completion dates, sold as one community. Building A contracts written in August 2026 carried an estimated completion of February 17, 2027 (Zenterra’s public line is spring 2027); the sales team puts Building B about two months behind Building A. Treat any date as an estimate: the contract’s outside date sits twelve months after the estimate, the developer may extend it by up to four months, and the disclosure statement governs, so read both before you commit.
  • What finishes and amenities come with a Solana home?
Both buildings are six-storey wood-frame around a landscaped courtyard, with plan types from urban one-bedroom to three-bedroom, two-bath. Zenterra’s features sheet lists nine-foot ceilings, air conditioning, two palettes (Sand and Slate), wide-plank vinyl floors, quartz counters, Samsung appliances with a gas cooktop, frameless glass ensuite showers and an electric-vehicle charging rough-in. Outside, more than 90,000 square feet of amenity space: a dog park, community garden, playground, outdoor fitness park, barbecue areas and putting, bocce and pickleball courts. The features sheet describes the standard; the disclosure statement and your contract fix what is included.
  • What rights do I have on a BC presale purchase?
The Real Estate Development Marketing Act gives you the developer’s filed disclosure statement before you sign and seven days, from the later of signing and receiving it, to cancel in writing with your deposit returned. Deposits sit in trust unless the developer carries deposit protection insurance, so ask which applies. After the seven days the contract binds; the Act is at bclaws.gov.bc.ca.
  • Can I rent a Solana home out, and are pets allowed?
Yes to renting: since November 24, 2022, BC’s Strata Property Act no longer lets a strata corporation ban or limit long-term rentals (Bill 44, 2022), so a completed Solana home can be rented out. Short-term rentals under 30 days can still be restricted by the strata and are governed by BC’s short-term rental rules. Age bylaws are allowed only as 55-plus. Pets are a bylaw matter: the proposed bylaws sit in the disclosure statement; read them before you commit.
  • Does buyer representation cost anything on a presale?
No. The developer pays the buyer’s agent fee; the price is the same with or without an agent. What changes is who reads the disclosure statement, compares the ask against Willoughby resale, and handles the walkthrough and deficiency list at completion. Developers generally register a buyer with the agent who brought them on first contact, so make contact before the first visit to the presentation centre.
  • What do the taxes come to on a Solana home?
Very little. A newly built home worth $1,100,000 or less is exempt from the Property Transfer Tax outright, and Willoughby condos sit comfortably inside that. Relief tapers between there and $1,150,000, then stops. You need to be a citizen or permanent resident and to live in the home. The larger number is the federal one: on a new home at $1,000,000 or under, a first-time buyer can get back up to $50,000 of the Goods and Services Tax. Legal fees and completion adjustments are what remain to budget for.

  1. Zenterra’s own sales team now describes Solana as completing in spring to summer 2027. This page carries February 2027 for Building A, which is the estimate on current contracts, and about two months later for Building B. Both are Zenterra’s; the newer wording is the wider one, and a contract date is what governs. Worth asking which applies to a specific home before removing subjects. 2. The 200 Street corridor row now reads from the adopted plan: council adopted the Willoughby Transit Corridor Plan on June 15, 2026 (it had said first and second reading with a hearing to come). Detail moved to the corridor guide. (tol.ca, Community and Neighbourhood Plans; Bylaw 6202)

  3. Completion on record from a Building A contract (estimated February 17, 2027; outside date twelve months later, extendable four months) and from the sales team for Building B (about two months after A); deposit structure (5% total) and the July 2026 strata-fee estimate ($0.41 per sq ft a month) added.
