Three reasons to look now

  • Transit, under construction

    SkyTrain to Langley

Willoughby's two nearest stations; Willowbrook is where the 200 Street rapid bus is planned to meet the train.

    On record

The Surrey Langley SkyTrain extension runs 16 kilometres on an elevated guideway from King George Station to 203 Street in Langley City. Its eight stations include Willowbrook and Langley City Centre, each with a transit exchange. The Province's current anticipated in-service date is late 2029.

  • Transit, detailed planning

    200 Street bus rapid transit

Frequent, separated transit on the street Willoughby is built around.

    On record

TransLink names Langley-Haney Place as one of its first three bus rapid transit projects, now in detailed planning and community engagement. It is 22 kilometres with 13 stations, a bus every 10 minutes at peak and 40 minutes end to end, between the Township of Langley and Maple Ridge. The Township's plan update says the proposed line runs along 200 Street, with five stations inside the Willoughby plan area, each envisioned as a neighbourhood hub.

  • Planning, adopted June 2026

    Willoughby Transit Corridor Plan

Density, shops and services planned around the stops, which is what turns a corridor into a neighbourhood.

    On record

On June 15, 2026 Township council adopted the Willoughby Transit Corridor Plan (Bylaw 6202) with the new Willoughby Community Plan and the Gordon Neighbourhood Plan. It replaces five neighbourhood plans with one plan built around the 200 Street bus line: five stations in Willoughby, 12 storeys base within 200 metres of each, six storeys from 201 to 400 metres, townhouse at the edges. Applications filed before adoption may proceed under the old plans until June 15, 2028.

Is this project still being built for sale?

Presale projects in a slow market convert to rental or stop, and a developer’s own page keeps saying “now selling” either way. Every new home in British Columbia is registered with BC Housing before it is built, and that registration says which it is. Here is what the registry held for Townside Village on August 25, 2026.

Registered for sale, with home warranty insurance

18 registrations at this address, held by Warwickshire Homes Ltd. as the builder of record. Homes registered this way are covered by the 2-5-10 warranty and may be sold to you.

Questions buyers ask about Townside Village

  • Which Townside Village plans are still available?
Warwickshire’s own inventory showed 78 of the 93 townhomes available on August 24, 2026. Three plans were gone: C and C1, the smaller four-bedroom layouts, and F1, the 2,075 square foot adaptable plan. That leaves the three-bedroom Plan A, the 3.5-bath B and B1, the C2, the D1 and D2 pair, and Plan E, which is 26 homes on its own. Fifteen sold of 93 is early, so the figure moves; the sales team holds the current list.
  • Who is the developer of Townside Village?
Warwickshire Homes, which describes 30 years of building homes in the Lower Mainland; Focus Architecture designed the community and The Collaborative Design Studio the interiors. Momentum Realty Inc. markets and sells it: 93 three- and four-bedroom townhomes, then 303 condos across the street (townsidevillage.ca).
  • Is Townside Village selling now?
Yes. The developer’s site says the townhomes are selling now, some move-in ready and the rest completing through 2026, and Momentum’s project page has listed it as Now Selling since June 19, 2026; condo details are expected by early 2027. Availability moves week to week; what remains in each plan type is a same-day question.
  • What does it mean that Momentum Realty runs the sales?
Momentum Realty Inc. is the brokerage the developer engaged to market and sell the homes, and the brokerage Bronson is licensed with. Availability and pricing come first-hand. Representation on your purchase is settled before you visit.
  • What rights do I have on a BC presale purchase?
The Real Estate Development Marketing Act gives you the developer’s filed disclosure statement before you sign and seven days, from the later of signing and receiving it, to cancel in writing with your deposit returned. Deposits sit in trust unless the developer carries deposit protection insurance, so ask which applies. After the seven days the contract binds; the Act is at bclaws.gov.bc.ca.
  • What amenities does Townside Village have?
A central landscaped courtyard with a lawn, seating, a picnic and dining area and a children’s playground, with a paved path connecting to neighbourhood trails. Ground-floor patios have a gas barbecue hookup, and there is ample visitor parking through the community (townsidevillage.ca).
  • What warranty comes with the home?
A 2-5-10 warranty through WBI Home Warranty: two years on materials and labour, five years on the building envelope, ten years on the structure. That is the standard new-home warranty coverage required in BC, and the developer’s feature sheet states it plainly.
  • How do the townhomes and the condos relate?
They are two phases of one master plan. The 93 townhomes, three and four bedrooms, are selling now; 303 condos are planned across the street, one to three bedrooms, with details expected by early 2027. The 396-home total (93 plus 303) is what completes the community.
  • Does buyer representation cost anything on a presale?
No. The developer pays the buyer’s agent fee; the price is the same with or without an agent. What changes is who reads the disclosure statement, compares the ask against Willoughby resale, and handles the walkthrough and deficiency list at completion. Developers generally register a buyer with the agent who brought them on first contact, so make contact before the first visit to the presentation centre.
  • What do the taxes come to on a Townside Village home?
That depends on the plan. British Columbia waives the Property Transfer Tax on a newly built home worth $1,100,000 or less, tapers the relief above that, and withdraws it entirely at $1,150,000. Townside runs to 2,075 square feet at the top, which is large enough that some homes here will land on the wrong side of that line. So the question is not really about the project. It is about the specific home, and the sales team can tell you which side it falls on. The relief also assumes you are a citizen or permanent resident living in the home. Separately, a first-time buyer of a new home priced at $1,000,000 or under can recover as much as $50,000 of the Goods and Services Tax.
  • Can I rent a Townside Village home out, and are pets allowed?
Renting is settled law rather than a bylaw. A strata in British Columbia has been unable to ban or limit long-term rentals since November 24, 2022, and that applies here as it does everywhere. Anything under 30 days is a different animal, still restrictable by the strata and governed by Langley’s own short-term rules. Age restrictions survive only in the 55 and over form. Pets are the open question, because they are decided by bylaw. Warwickshire has not published a limit, and the proposed bylaws travel with the disclosure statement.

How this page stays current: update log and sources
  • · Every fact carries its source’s date. Verified August 22, 2026; review by September 22, 2026.
  • · Updates come from the sales team and the developer’s own publications, each logged with its date. A figure with no source is shown as not on record, never estimated.
  • · Renderings and photographs are the developer’s own, credited. The show-home photographs are Momentum Realty’s. A dated site photograph of our own appears here once taken.
  1. Warwickshire publishes all nine townhome plan sheets and links none of them from any page on townsidevillage.ca. They were found in the site’s own media library and are now on this page, which corrects an earlier version saying no plan sheet was published. The nine run from Plan A at 1,329 square feet, the only three-bedroom, to the adaptable Plan F1 at 2,075. Plan E is the most common, 26 of the 93 homes. (townsidevillage.ca plan sheets)

  2. The developer’s live inventory showed 78 of 93 townhomes available. Plans C, C1 and F1 were sold out, which accounts for all fifteen sold homes. (townsidevillage.ca unit inventory)

  3. Expanded from the developer’s own feature sheet and townhomes page: full finishes and appliance package, the central courtyard amenity, the landscape architect, the WBI 2-5-10 warranty, named nearby schools, and a preliminary site plan. Checked and NOT used: a stale Warwickshire marketing page giving a third address, and an unsourced claim that Phases 1 and 2 are sold out, which neither developer page states. (townsidevillage.ca; Feature Sheet PDF)

  4. The 200 Street corridor row now reads from the adopted plan: council adopted the Willoughby Transit Corridor Plan on June 15, 2026 (it had said first and second reading with a hearing to come). Detail moved to the corridor guide. (tol.ca, Community and Neighbourhood Plans; Bylaw 6202)

  5. Renderings, interiors and show-home photographs from the developer's gallery and Momentum's project page added to this page. (bronsonjob.com)
